On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the RVCC held a thematic quick tournament, featuring the Austrian Attack in the Pirc Defense. Six players competed in a 4-round G/15 event at RVCC headquarters, Raleigh Court Public Library.
Ben Dubuque directed the tournament-- and also won clear 1st place, with a 3.5 score. Drew Gripp placed 2nd, with 3.0 points. Isaac Spence came in 3rd, also with 3.0 points. Mike Huff came in 4th, and Chris Moore placed 5th.
As always, the RVCC appreciates the Raleigh Court Public Library, for hosting our weekly club meetings and speed tournaments.
