This unrated, ongoing, open chess tournament is sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Chess Club and is held at the Roanoke Natural Foods Co-Op. The Co-Op is located in Roanoke, Va. at 1319 Grandin Rd. near Memorial Ave. SW. It is next door to the Va. Heights Baptist Church, directly across the street from the Grandin Theater.
You could register through June 4, 2011. Registration ended that day.
The tournament runs through August 27, 2011.

With a minimum of $100.00 guaranteed !
Entry fee was $18.00 for the public, $15.00 for RVCC members, and for kids under the age of 13.
USCF membership is NOT required for this event.
